Information on Saba Jewellery by Geraldine Murphy

Winner of Showcase "Essence of Ireland" award 2009.

Geraldine says "A playful element is really important to me when I'm designing, and the words "whimsical chic" apply to my ranges. I do a lot of animal designs, from cats and horses to gorillas and camels, but also a range of clothes including a washing line necklace with a little 9ct rose gold bra and fishnet tights."

All stock is handcrafted from sterling silver, gold, fresh water pearls (Sea Creatures and Starfish ranges) and semi precious stones from her studio in Dublin.

Geraldine is a member of the Crafts Council of Ireland. Before becoming a jewellery designer full time she worked in animation for several years including the BAFTA award winning "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" and the Oscar nominated "Give up Yer Aul Sins."
